Pastor Steve Siefkes (Bio)

 

Steve Siefkes is Pastor of Calvary Bible Church in Whitehouse Station, NJ. Steve accepted Christ as his personal Savior in 1959 while attending Sunday School in southern MN. He was called to preach in 1965 while attending an ordination service.

In July of 1971, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served at Minot, ND from 1972-1975. He received an Honorable Discharge in 1975.  He served in the Army Reserve from 1976-1982 as the NCOIC of Recruiting and was awarded the Gold Badge in recruiting.  He received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army in 1982. Steve was ordained in 1982 at First Baptist Church, Garden City, MN and was commissioned as a Chaplain in the United States Air Force in July 1982. While serving as Pastor at Lincoln Baptist Church, Lake Crystal, MN, he also served as a Reserve Chaplain at Minot Air Force Base, ND from 1982-1988. He returned to active duty in the Air Force in 1988 where he served in various capacities throughout the world. Steve retired from the Air Force in August of 2003.

Steve is responsible for the spiritual welfare, nurturing and growth of the congregation at Whitehouse Station. He was called to the position of Senior Pastor in October of 2003.

Steve married Valerie Genre in 1975 and they have two children, Stephanie and Jordan.
